To support the Senior Specialist: ICT Security to design and maintain endpoints security landscape; monitor security threats, prioritize and implement remedial action plans. Provide operational support of the endpoint security infrastructure. Review audit findings, develop and implement remedial action plans. Develop endpoint security standards and play a role in the testing thereof.
Requirements:
A degree\diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in an ICT Security-related position, with experience in endpoint security.
An ICT Security-related certification, e.g. CISSP, CEH, will be an advantage.
The candidate must have solid working experience and knowledge of McAfee Endpoint Protection and EDR. Knowledge of NIST and other security-related frameworks as applicable will also be an added advantage.
Key Performance Areas:
Provide operational support on endpoint protection.
Research and identify potential ICT Security threats.
Work with outsourced Managed Security Operation Centre (SOC) service provider to prioritize the remediation of identified endpoint threats, vulnerabilities and incidents.
Manage and maintain the following endpoint security solutions.
Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Microsoft Intune)
McAfee Anti-Virus, TIE/DXL, EDR and Endpoint Encryption
Develop endpoint security standards, processes and procedure.
Work closes with ICT governance to ensure adherence to ICT security standards, processes and procedures.
Provide relevant management reporting on all the above as and when required.
