Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of imports and exports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Demand Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and coordinate the receipt and delivery of materials and products.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Import & Export Controller and Shipping Controller teams, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
Organisation and People management: Actively drives a customer-centric culture in the OpCo and ensures cross-functional alignment. Effectively organises and manages a team of people.
Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that issues are resolved promptly.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with imports and exports, including regulatory compliance, supply chain disruptions, and customs clearance.
Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.Job Requirements: Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Functional expert in Imports & Exports.
5+ years of experience in imports and exports management, including experience with customs clearance, supply chain optimisation, and team leadership.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of import and export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and supply chain optimisation best practices.
