Independent Contractors (Data Space) 12 Months Contract - SA Remote at talentCRU

We are working in the following roles:

• SME / Data Analysts
• Data Engineers
• Contract will be for 12 months initially
• Must come from Big Data Background

SA Citizen

Data Engineers: x5

• Strong technical background with 4-6 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineering,
• Solid experience in SQL development, and in building aggregated data marts, reports and dashboards.
• Good understanding of BI – Data warehouse DB Concepts
• You have a structured approach to development (measuring, monitoring, and testing)
• You are dedicated to writing and maintaining high quality code.
• You will have strong documentation skills
• Previous experience with Telcom domain is paramount.
• Previous experience with Bigdata is a plus.
• Previous experience with Hadoop Solution Components/Hadoop Administration/Spark is plus

SME/ Data Analysts: x2

• Understanding of software development lifecycle
• 2-5 years + Data Analysis experience
• In depth understanding of the data source such as EMM, MSC, ICT, CCN, MAPS, SDP and or other telco data sources
• Experience in user testing
• Solid understanding of, and experience with, Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• SQL skills are mandatory
• Experience in Big Data technologies would be an advantage
• Experience in Hive, Presto or similar would an advantage
• PowerBI knowledge and experience would an advantage
