Industrial Data Manager at Alstom

• Bombela Maintenance is looking to recruit 1 x Industrial Data Manager.
• The main purpose of this role is to ensure that the industrial master data is well implemented for the core site ERP system and landscapes (GSI , SES, DMP, P2P Ariba).
• This role will be based at the Gautrain Maintenance Depot in Midrand, Johannesburg. 

YOUR ROLE:

• Support the implementation of new systems and their upgrade
• Support and enforce the correct use of the local ERP system (GSI) , work with CFT to establish correct governances and routines around GSI/SES and the ways of work
• Accountable to good use,  and correct data on ERP system. Create and manage framework with Key user and CFT teams to assure data integrity in the local ERP system, to facilitate correct outputs  in support of maintenance operations.
• Manage KPI framework and report to senior management and GSI core team.
• Escalation and stragety to stabalize GSI rollout for site post deployment (ExBT site)
• Direct link with GSI core teams from cluster, region(PMs & RBPEs)
• Mobilizing the respect, with support of ERP team of GSI core processes, ZERO deviation policy!
• Mobilize GSI reporting requirements with client/contractual obligations 
• Is the manager/owner for Industrial Information System Tools: ERP GSI,DMP Tools, SES...
• Perform the tests before implementation or update(UATs) lead by ERP team supported by RBPE
• Ensure the data integrity and input into the ERP tool, manage, audit, correct, support and put in place good governace with CFT teams
• Train end users by ERP core teams .
• Participate to the  GSI network internal and external to ensure site maturity and appropriation
• Manage site ramp-up effort to migrate  all sub systems and sub-processes to GSI
• Lead service site ramp up maturity effort 
• Lead and manage local ERP Key user team
• Responsible to ensure full transition from MAXIMO to GSI.
• Define management data work plan for the ERP team
• Interface with Project Industrialisation for Equipment/BOM requirements for service scope
• Lead the pilot and implementation of new systems ; i.e., units within Digital Maintenance Planning(DMP)   
• Ensure the consistency of those data between the different systems i.e. GSI/SES/Ariba/SQP etc
• Manage the impacts of engineering and process changes in the systems and asset structures
• Manage  application of the changes supported by ERP team at site level , change management 
• Ensure accuracy of MC-BoMs, Functional Locations Structures, Equipment Structures, Project Layers/Serialization Structures.  Perform audits led by ERP Team
• Build and maintain up to date the Industrial ERP data, including the Bill of Material & Configuration Management data
• Build and update maintenance strategy and development of maintenance plan, Task list and Service Order configuration, Measurement Points,
• Based on audits & return experience from the field, continously improve, correct the data into the system.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Technical education, Degree / Diploma - Data management, ENG or other...
• English read, written, spoken.
• Service & Manufacturing Engineering background with 5 years’ experience preferably in the railway services.
• Basic knowledge of Engineering design and Supply Chain
• Strong Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Configuration management ,
• Familiar with IS common tools.
• Strong team management experience
