    Industrial Engineer (35382) (Citrusdal)

    Job Description

    • Our client, a leading innovator in technology for the agricultural sector, is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic IT team in Citrusdal. Full relocation will be provided.
    • This exciting opportunity leverages your expertise in production environments to design and develop cutting-edge IT solutions tailored to the agricultural industry. No prior coding or programming experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to help you master their low-code platform. If you're ready to combine your engineering knowledge with technology to make an impact, this role is for you!

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Use appropriate tools to solve system problems and drive decision-making.
    • Plan, develop and implement new systems to enhance existing processes.
    • Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the stability and reliability of implemented solutions.
    • Manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders and engineers to support the delivery of a project, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met.
    • Design and implement system integrations to ensure smooth communication between different software platforms and tools.
    • Translate data into informative reports and use visuals to draw out insights, supporting the business with making data-driven decisions.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Engineering, Industrial, Agricultural and other related fields.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience within engineering, preferably within agriculture or food production industries.
    • Strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing, and process optimization.
    • Proficiency with engineering tools and software
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
    • Knowledge of sustainability practices and the ability to integrate them into production processes is a plus.
    • A passion for improving agricultural systems and production efficiency.
