Managed Talent Solutions's client in the mining sector is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager with +5 years experience of management of infrastructure projects involving EUC, Networking, Voice and Security, Cloud.
Fixed-term contract until Dec 2025, hybrid and office site in JHB -North. Travelling may be required
Requirements:
Matric and Prince II certification
Relevant tertiary qualifications
5+ years experience of management of infrastructure projects (EUC, Networking, Voice, Security, Cloud)
Highly proficient in Project Management principles, methods, techniques, and tools
Strong supplier & people management skills
Technical background and understanding of infrastructure underpinnings of a complex network environment
Knowledge about aspects of information technology specifically within complex infrastructure environments
Key responsibilities:
Build and manage the end-to-end project plan, and monitor/report progress. Effectively manage scope and dependencies. Identify risks and issues and proactively resolve/mitigate them.
Ensure that the project is delivered to time, cost, and quality
Ensure that business outcomes are defined, approved, and delivered.
Support strong governance, aligned with the overall governance, and ensure that timely decisions are taken.
Communicate regularly and effectively with project stakeholders.
Support the Programme manager in the overall successful delivery of a Programme.
Coordinate and manage resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
Lead project meetings and set expectations.
Maintain budget and forecast.
Assessing and analyzing different options for the requirements of the project.
Prepare cost estimates of IT infrastructure.
Meeting stakeholders and assessing IT infrastructure needs.
Meeting with IT solution architects and finalizing essential IT infrastructure.
Planning and supervising installation of IT infrastructure.
