    Inside Sales Intern

    About the job

    We are looking for an Inside Sales Intern that will support both Internal and external customers .The Inside Sales Role may include the following tasks:

    Pricing and Quotations:

    • SPA (Special Price agreement) administrative initiation
    • Product quotation and follow up (from existing Bill Of Material (BOM) & new BOM on customer needs)
    • ETO (Engineered To Order) quotes initiation in SAP
    • Software Portal quotes incl.(support to the sales teams, customers and channel partners, training, collaboration with EMEA Teams)
    • Status confirmation for customers and ACM´s.
    • Commercial programs in Partner Relationship Manager (PRM) - software toolkits (support to sales teams and customers for new and renewals, quotes)
    • Request For Information (Products, Price Check & Availability Inquiries)
    • Creation of Proposal Requests in Dynamics
    • First level pre-sale technical support (on products)
    • Competitor products conversions

    Pre-Sales Queries and General Support:

    • Query Management (product, price queries, obsolescence notices, product info, cross reference for competitor product)
    • Alternative products (to stocked out products and in case of delivery delays or obsolescence)
    • Pre - / Post Sales Concession (requests from ACM, SM, TC, FBL)

    Systems Support, Training and Sales Reporting:

    • New customer setup (Dynamics)
    • Opportunities (reporting, creation and maintenance)
    • Dynamics (sales support, training to sales teams, collaboration with EMEA & Global Teams)
    • Power BI (support to the sales teams, collaboration with EMEA Teams, data consistency)
    • SAP Fiori support
    • Tickets (simulation and creation) for in-Country platforms issues
    • PRM (support to system integrators and distributors)
    • Anaplan (issues investigation and support to the sales teams about targets and mapping)
    • International and manual credit adjustment/split (revenue)
    • Monthly open order report sharing with ACM

    Channel Partner Support (System Integrators, Distributors, OEM’s):

    • System Integrator Program (success plans, SI agreements, business reviews, 5 Year BSR, reporting, support to competency enhancement initiatives (TechED, webinars, on-line trainings)
    • Sales Agents Agreements - In collaboration with the Sales Operations (new, renewals, amendments, terminations, AOP, forecast, commercial conditions)
    • Anti-bribery due diligence process (compliance with the Market Access policy) - GAN integrity system for distributors, sales agents, consultants and new SI’s, support and follow up to the channel partners
    • Booking OnCourse labs
    • List price and distributors CDV (POS) file preparation

    Lead Validation & New Business Development:

    • Proactive tele-prospecting activity to win new opportunities (new customers - core & non-core (local) industries)
    • New customers qualification (web search, electronic web forms, phone calls, LinkedIn, IIR database)
    • Leads assignment in Dynamics (marketing lists/campaigns, visits, opportunities won)
    • New customers contact for Digitalization Opportunities with LinkedIn
    • Product End of Life (EOL) Campaigns
    • Customer Support Visits for APR (Area of Primary Responsibility) & New accounts
    • IIR projects

    Customer Care:

    • Training support assistance CSM (customer support and maintenance)
    • Customers complaints global process (support to the sales teams)
    • Order management - Order Validation and/or Entry, Order Queries and Follow Up

    Marketing Support:

    • Customer Loyalty Survey (support to the sales teams - follow up on questions/comments from customers, contacting customer contacts to ensure completion of survey and or clean up of contact info in CRM)
    • Support Annual Price Action Communication led by Marketing.

    Minimum requirements:

    • The candidate should preferably hold a Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
    • Bachelor of Information Technology (or equivalent), BTech NQF Level 6 or Diploma in Information Technology (or equivalent) will also be considered .
