    Research Analyst (Resources) (Re-advertisement)

    Purpose of the role:

    • To carry out in-house equity research, supply the Head of Equities and Portfolio Manager: Resources with equity investment recommendations to enable PIC to meet its investment targets. To also assist with the forecast of key commodities as well as maintenance of the house view insofar as it relates to the Resources sector for the PIC.

    Requirements:
    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • B Degree in Commerce, Finance or Science
    • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in financial markets
    • FAIS RE5, RE1 and RE3

    Preferred Qualifications and experience:

    • A Postgraduate degree in Science, Commerce and Finance, MBA, CFA or CA
    • B.Sc (Eng) and B.Sc (Geology) or similar

    Analyst: Market Risk

    Purpose of the role:

    • To manage market risk by identifying, quantifying and on an ongoing basis, monitoring the exposure of the
    • PIC portfolios to various forms of market risk (e.g. price/position risk, investment risk, interest rate risk, and equity risk). To formulate tactics and implement systems to manage market risk. To stress test portfolios under various market conditions to determine the impact on the profit and loss on the portfolio. Work is highly complex and can be abstract, makes recommendations that are considered authoritative.

    Requirements:
    Minimum qualifications and experience:

    • B Com, BSc or any related quantitative degree
    • 2 – 4 years relevant experience
    • FAIS RE 05 certification or must be obtained within 6 months of employment
    • Post graduate degrees and/or CFA, FRM will be advantageous

    Human Capital Administrator

    Purpose of the role:

    • The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Human Capital Team. This support covers the full spectrum of the Human Capital Value Chain, ensuring that processes from on-boarding new employees through to termination are handled efficiently and accurately.

    Requirements:

    • Degree or National Diploma in HR or equivalent relevant qualification.
    • 2 – 4 years in an HR Administration role within the Asset Management and Investment
    • Industry.
    • Data/Information Management experience.

    Duties:

    • The role includes a range of responsibilities focused on ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Human Capital Data, as well as supporting the Human Capital team and Business Partners in various

    Data Management and Integrity

    • Verify all Human Capital data to confirm accuracy and consistency across records.

    Client Relations Specialist x2

    Purpose of the role:

    Network Security Specialist

    Purpose of the role:

    • To carry out security measures to protect the company’s information assets, as well as perform operational tasks across security capabilities, providing review and oversight to a number of security controls.

    Requirements:

    • BSC Computer Science Degree / BTech (Information Technology) / Information Security or related degree with at least 3 - 6 years’ experience in the Information Security Field.
    • At least two of these Security+, Certified Network Defender (CND), CEH, CISSP, CCNA or similar network security professional certifications.
    • Good understanding of complex IT systems and staying up to date with the latest security standards, systems and protocols, as well as best practice security products.
    • Advanced enterprise network security.
    • Excellent knowledge of cloud technologies, information security technologies such as firewalls,

    • Support the successful completion of internal/external security audits with zero major findings.
    • Analyse existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements.
    • Monitor PIC ICT network and systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and provide early warning of abnormalities or problems.

    Cloud Security Specialist

    Purpose of the role:

    • Responsible for ensuring that the PIC cloud journey is secure, compliant, and resilient.

    Requirements:

    • BSC Computer Science Degree / BTech (Information Technology) / Information Security or related degree with at least seven (7) years’ experience in IT Security of which three (3) must be in cyber security.
    • At least two of CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), CCNP,
    • CEH, or similar technical cloud security certification.
    • Member of a security professional body in good standing.
    • Conduct proactive threat hunting in cloud environments using telemetry from Cloud SIEM and threat intelligence feeds; develop and test cloud-specific incident response playbooks.
    • Knowledge of the IT Industry and security trends that impact the asset management industry

    Duties:

    • Practical experience designing and implementing Zero Trust principles in cloud environments: micro-segmentation, identity-aware proxies, continuous verification, and least-privilege access models.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools: SIEM, Antivirus, IPS/IDS and Web content gateways.
    • Experience with incident management tools and threat intelligence platforms, and service providers.
    • Understanding of the current vulnerabilities, response and mitigating strategies as well as tactics, techniques, procedures (TTP), indicators and observables.
    • Technical expert in one or more specific Cyber sub-offering area.
    • Understands technical complexity at Network, Application, Database, Infrastructure and Cloud level.
    • Understand and interpret complex security-related business challenges and have the ability to respond by conceiving innovative information security/cyber solutions for clients.
    • Knowledge and appreciation of the wider Cyber Security issues and opportunities beyond the specific domain specialisation.
    • Able to scope Cyber engagements effectively and assign and manage an appropriate team to deliver against the engagement requirements.
    • Applying Cloud Security Reference Architecture to deliver consistent, standardised solutions for Identity & Access Management, Data Protection, Secure DevOps, Security Operations, and other security domains.
    • Delivering solutions for integration between Cloud and on-premises security solutions.
    • Solutions Architect experience for cloud systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage engagements that encompass the wider RA services and collaborating and coordinating solution design work with other Cyber sub–solution Architects in Infrastructure, Service Delivery, etc.
    • Utilising and applying knowledge of Cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS & SaaS into projects, such as, Azure, Microsoft Office 365.

    • Key Management & Encryption.
