Human Capital Administrator at Public Investment Corporation

Purpose of the role:

• The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Human Capital Team. This support covers the full spectrum of the Human Capital Value Chain, ensuring that processes from on-boarding new employees through to termination are handled efficiently and accurately.

Requirements:

• Degree or National Diploma in HR or equivalent relevant qualification.
• 2 – 4 years in an HR Administration role within the Asset Management and Investment
• Industry.
• Data/Information Management experience.
• Basic knowledge of BCEA, OHSA, Skills Development Act, Labour Relations Act and
• Employment Equity Act required.

Duties:

• The role includes a range of responsibilities focused on ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Human Capital Data, as well as supporting the Human Capital team and Business Partners in various
• administrative and recruitment functions.

Data Management and Integrity

• Verify all Human Capital data to confirm accuracy and consistency across records.
• Take responsibility for identifying and correcting data that is incorrect, incomplete, or duplicated, including removing unnecessary records.
• Review duplicate records and merge them to maintain a single, comprehensive database.
• Interrogate data and make amendments as needed to ensure ongoing data quality.
• Proactively contact employees to confirm that their contact information is current and accurate.
• Liaise with other internal stakeholders to verify the accuracy of data, ensuring that updates are validated and supported.

HR System Maintenance

• Maintain comprehensive records and upload relevant information onto the HR system.
• Ensure records are consistently maintained on the HR system, reflecting any updates or changes made.
• Keep an audit trail of all information updated, providing a clear history of data changes for compliance and review purposes.

Support Functions

• Provide support to Human Capital Business Partnering throughout the recruitment and selection process, assisting with administrative requirements and documentation.
• Provide support to the Learning and Development Team with the administration of bursaries, employee training and related aspects.
• Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required, supporting the Human Capital team in daily operations and project-based activities.
• Support internal and external audit requests with reliable data and documentation.
