Instrumentation Technician - Umbogintwini at AECI Limited

Job Description    

• Ensure Engineering Standards are maintained
• Ensure customer needs are met in full and on time
• Ensure SHE standards are active and live and maintain minimal incidents
• Cost savings by using up redundant Equipment and other initiatives
• Generate Job Cards on the Maintenance System
• Ensure Instrument Drawings File is updated
• Sign off job cards
• Ensure good housekeeping in the Workshop
• Ensure work permits for all jobs are taken and ensure they are signed off once job is completed
• Ensure Test Certificates are done for calibrated equipment
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as per agreed standards

Qualifications & Experience    

• Matric with Math and Physics
• Traded tested and preferably with a Diploma in Instrumentation
• Minimum 5 – 8 years post qualification experience
• Minimum 3 years Chemical Plant experience
• Must be computer literate – SAP Knowledge advantageous
