The Role

• Experienced and customer-focused with strong OEM parts knowledge, the ability to service the workshop, internal departments and counter sales successfully.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide professional and efficient service to customers, Sales and Workshop departments.
• Prepare accurate and competitive parts quotations.
• Ensure all required parts are available for scheduled service bookings.
• Pre-pick parts where possible.
• Issue parts to workshop/technicians timeously.
• Be able to accurately identify parts using electronic parts catalogues.
• Consult with Technician & Service Advisor and provide quotations for additional work as quickly as possible for authorisation.
• Assist with over-the-counter sales and quotes.
• Assist with telephonic enquiries and quotes.
• Help check-in stock, check and record shortages or damages and assist Parts Manager to bin parts correctly.
• Assist Parts Manager by maintaining correct stock levels and parameters.
• Help with regular stock-checks and stock-take preparation for financial year end.
• Assist the Parts Manager with daily operations and stock control.
• Maintain pre-determined gross profit parameters
• Housekeeping on a regular basis, keeping working area neat and tidy.

Skills and Experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric/Grade 12.
• Mathematics and Science will be advantageous.
• Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Email, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Five years' parts experience within a retail motor environment.
• Experience working on Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
• Experience with Evolve will be advantageous.
• Good understanding of electronic parts catalogues.
• Technical knowledge or mechanical understanding will be advantageous.
• Previous parts training within the retail motor industry will be advantageous.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Valid Driver’s Licence

The Role

• This position requires a highly skilled Master Technician, technically strong individual with OEM-level training and experience with both ICE petrol and diesel vehicles and HEV hybrid and EV electric vehicles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make use of OEM manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose, successfully repair and resolve mechanical and electronic faults.
• Servicing and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Perform quality repairs “Fix It Right First Time” is paramount at all times.
• Conduct quality inspections and road tests on all vehicles.
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturers standards.
• Provide technical team support to other technicians. 
• Work closely with the workshop team to ensure efficient workflow and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Good communication skills with aftersales team and ability to report, record time and information to Service Advisors to discuss with clients accurately.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Motor Mechanic Trade Test Certificate recognised in South Africa.
• Post qualified minimum 5 years' experience as an Automotive Technician within an OEM/dealership environment.
• Master technician certification or equivalent OEM-accredited training.
• Experience in automotive diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Experienced with automotive electronics and electrical systems.
• Experience with EV and hybrid vehicle technology.
• Experience with all mechanical repairs on motor vehicles, bakkies and SUVs.
• Matric with Mathematics and Science.
• OEM technical training and certification.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Computer literate , email, Word & Excel
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.

Skills and Experience

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Automotive diagnostic skills.
• Sound understanding of modern vehicle electronic systems diagnostics and repairs.
• Mechanical fault-finding and repairs, engines, transmissions, suspensions, drive train components and brakes.
• Training and experience on EV and hybrid vehicle technology.
• Use of OEM Manufacturer-approved diagnostic systems.
• Ability to interpret electronic workshop manuals, wiring diagrams and diagnostic data.
• Auto electrical experience on alternators, starters and wiring repairs.
• Experience with Airconditioning systems and equipment.

The Role

• The Factory Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations for custom and production-line recreational vehicles. You will lead cross-functional teams spanning chassis prep, cabinetry/carpentry, 12V/240V electrical systems, plumbing, body fitment, quality assurance, and final delivery.
• Your primary mandate is ensuring production targets are met on time, within budget, and to strict automotive and residential safety compliance standards.

• Drive root-cause analysis (RCA) on defect trends and warranty claims to improve build standards.
• Supply Chain & Inventory Coordination
• Manage long-lead components (chassis supply, appliances, specialized fiberglass panels, solar/battery systems).
• Prevent production halts.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

• Lead floor supervisors, team leads, tradespeople and assembly technicians.

Financial & Resource Planning

Control plant operational expenditure.

• Evaluate and justify capital expenditure.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS PROFILE

• 5–10 years factory management as well as operations and manufacturing within commercial vehicle, marine, or modular construction.
• Technical Knowledge of DC/AC power systems, automotive body design, gas/plumbing standards, and cabinetry/CNC operations.
• Proven track record with high-variability manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
