Intergovernmental Relations &Border Interventions Intern (24 Months Period) at The Cross-Border Road Transport Agency

Key Performance Areas / Duties

• Implementation of Stakeholder Management Plan for government stakeholders.
• Implementation of MoU’s with identified stakeholders.
• Build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders.
• Implement cross border road transport agreements.
• Facilitate workshops, forums and conferences.
• Border Management structures’ participation.
• Stakeholder relationship management.
• Reporting.
• Perform administrative duties.

 Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of Cross-Board Road Transport Act.
• Understanding SADC Political and economic environment.
• Knowledge of SADC protocols and communication channels 
• Understanding of the border environment operations
• Stakeholder relations, principles and management
• Ability to communicate (written and oral) at operational level

Requirements

Minimum formal qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• National Diploma/ bachelor's degree Tertiary qualification in transport related discipline or Public Administration or equivalent.
