• We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a growing practice and be heavily involved in all aspects of the business. You will be working on projects from commercial, residential and co-working in a highly creative and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities 

• You will work really closely with our leadership team, and also with on-site teams so must have an excellent understanding of the construction process in order to effectively liaise with project managers, and ensure the designs are delivered seamlessly.
• You will be producing full detailed technical drawings, 3D models/visuals and developing detailed designs and selection of materials and finishes.
• Managing and coordinating the technical aspects of the projects includings quotes, budgets and drawings. For this you need exceptional attention to detail.
• Have a hands-on approach, attending meetings on and off-site and the ability to interact and manage suppliers and contractors on site.
• Utilising your problem-solving skills to come up with design solutions.
• Multi-task and work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Be reliable and committed to the demands of the role.
• Be passionate about detail, and keep up-to-date with new developments and design trends in our industry.

Qualifications

• Interior Design Qualification (minimum 3year degree)
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in either commercial, office or residential design industry
• Strong technical resolution capabilities
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, In Design and Photoshop
• High level understanding of general building construction
• Understanding of construction process relating to interiors
• Detailed understanding of joinery construction
