Intermediate Designer at Ovations Technologies

• This is a 12 - month contract with our client in the banking sector

Core Responsibilities

• UI & UX Creation: Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, user flows, and interface elements aligned with project specifications.
• Design Systems: Build and maintain visual assets, UI patterns, and specifications within the enterprise design system.
• Research & Testing: Conduct UI/UX trend research, competitor analysis, and user testing to refine digital products based on feedback.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior designers, developers, and product teams to ensure designs meet both business requirements and technical constraints.
• Standards & Delivery: Adhere to client-centered design processes, design standards, and project timelines.

Minimum Requirements

• 3 - 5 yrs proven experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer in an enterprise or structured environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI layouts, interaction design, prototyping, and design system contributions.
• Proficiency in standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design processes, user research methods, and UX testing.
• Excellent verbal and visual communication skills to present design rationale to stakeholders.
• Must have valid work authorization for South Africa.
