The Role

We are looking for a talented developer to join our development team!

The right candidate will:

• Understand project and development plans and be able to clearly articulate roles, project goals and timelines. 
• Adhere to coding standards defined by technical management. 
• Accurately employ our development tools. 
• Establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans. 
• Assist in the design, coding and testing of technical solutions. 
• Assist in the putting together the architectural foundation of software applications. 
• Understand standard systems development lifecycle processes and apply our methodology effectively on client engagements. 
• Apply knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients. 

You will be fully competent in the following, as you will be expected to develop software modules using these technologies: 

• Java (Android)
• Swift (iOS)
• .Net Framework & .Net Core
• HTML,CSS & XSLT 
• C#, JavaScript, Angular, ASP.NET MVC 
• MS SQL, MYSQL 
• Demonstrates knowledge of object and component methodology and technology 
• Possesses knowledge of classes, components, objects, and interfaces

Able to perform and drive the following support & maintenance tasks:

• Configures software and equipment and tests platform-specific versions of multiple software products.
• Creates new modules without assistance from a senior. Only use a senior or tech/team lead for sound boarding. Mentors and teach others in the team regarding the coding standards, delivery and how the platform is structured.
• Can setup a full testing suite for a project. 
• Documents and maintains the patterns, practices and principles the team needs to follow. Ensures consistency across the team with regards to patterns and practices and UI design. Coach and guide the team on the various design patterns and principles. 

Location: Johannesburg 

Remuneration: R25 000 – R35 000 per month
