Intermediate Phase Educator at ADvTECH

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Intermediate Phase Teacher to join our school team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students in grades 4-7, providing engaging and comprehensive lessons across various subjects, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Intermediate Phase Teacher will also be responsible for assessing student progress, communicating with parents, and participating in school activities and events.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in various subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Arts.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth.
• Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, assessment strategies, and learning resources.
• Participate in school activities, events, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Teaching certification or license required.
• Proven experience teaching in an Intermediate Phase setting.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and classroom management techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
