Job Purpose
To drive the Nedbank brand and support sales and service strategy in terms of short term insurance to achieve sales and service targets.
Job Responsibilities
Complete Tasks through planning and reviewing set targets
Manage resources (time; processes) to optimize value against client expectations
Comply with risk standards; policies and procedures through training and development as required by group compliance framework
Build and maintain relationships between client’s, stakeholders and insurers
Administration and management of the client’s insurance portfolio on a day to day basis
Provide accurate reporting on a weekly/monthly basis to mitigate risks and ensure clients/insurers requirements are met
Manage a portfolio of clients both on personal lines and commercial book of business
Identify processes that require improvement and enhancement
Ensure adherance to service standards and strategies by observation and measurement and recommending corrective action.
Support relevant areas to achieve sales and service objectives by highlighting gaps and opportunities
Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank.
Analyze relevant customer feedback systems and identify common trends in customer breakdowns and recommend corrective action to achieve world class service expectations
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify initiatives to ensure achievement of sales and service targets.
Reducing of errors and improve data quality by identifying trends and putting corrective activities in place.
Focus on portfolio management and growth of book to increase revenue
Improve productivity and participation through focus sessions.
Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management.
Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe
Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction.
Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes (e.g. operational processes) that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by highlighting benefits in support of the implementation of recommendations.
Minimum Experience Level
2 - 3 years Short term and commercial insurance experience
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Preferred Qualification
FAIS Qualification, Full Short-Term Insurance qualification (NQF level 4 or 5), Regulatory Examination 1 Qualification.
