Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Sales Coordinator to join their sales team located in Linbro park, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative and coordination skills, the ability to manage customer inquiries efficiently, and support the sales team in achieving their objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12.
Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Advantageous: working knowledge of CRM or ERP systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Process sales orders and quotations received via phone, email, fax, or in-person according to company procedures.
Liaise with dispatch, purchasing, accounts, and external sales representatives as required.
Identify, research, and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Assist in growing the company’s client base by identifying top prospects.
Provide product and service information to customers and support the sales team.
Maintain accurate records of requests, quotations, and communications.
Follow up on quotations and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
Support the launch and implementation of new products.
Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
Complete sales-related reports and communicate trends, results, and recommendations to management.
Follow company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Assist with inventory management and communicate stock availability to the sales team.
