International WordPress Support Representative - South Africa at DreamHost

Overview
Our international team is looking for a skilled, high-energy International WordPress Representative to join our WordPress Support team as a contractor and focus primarily on support provided through LiveChat. The International WordPress Representative must be passionate about WordPress, have experience troubleshooting WordPress installations, and have a strong familiarity with Linux system administration and debugging practices. This individual will understand basic Web Hosting principles, and feel comfortable in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will have previous Web Hosting (ticket/LC) experience and be able to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work from our internal queues following pre-defined priorities and workflows
• Monitor for tickets in other areas internally and be sure to move them to queues our teams manage
• Work in oldest support cases prior to moving onto newer cases
• Maintain and update all WordPress support internal resources with new ideas or hot topics as necessary
• Maintain and update all related internal tools
• Spot trends in order to properly manage any related support coming in
• Communicate new trends to all team members
• Be active within Support communication channels while on the clock
• Provide assistance to general TS with WordPress and DreamPress issues as the need arises
• Follow all workflow and processes for Professional Services, helping customers with situations that would normally be outside of general scope of Support

Job requirements

• Must have experience with troubleshooting WordPress
• Great attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong familiarity working with WordPress
• 1+ Years Technical Support Experience
• Comfortable working on the Linux Command Line
• Strong critical thinking and logic skills
