Internship: AP Trade Creditors Internship at The Department of Employment and Labour

REQUIREMENTS :

• An undergraduate qualification in Financial Accounting/ Cost and Management Accounting/ Financial Management at NQF Level 6 as recognized by SAQA. No experience required. Never participated in any internship programme (for both public and private sector).
• Knowledge: Public Service Act and Regulations. Basic Conditions of Employment Act Labour Relations Act. Generally Recognised Accounting Principles (GRAP). Relevant Financial Systems HR System (PERSAL).
• Skills: Computer Literacy, Communications. Interpersonal. Analytical Skills, Time Management. Accounting Report Writing. Creative. Financial Management. Planning and Organising. 

DUTIES :

• Processing and payment of internal and external invoices within 30 days of receipt by the Fund. Provision of administrative support for petty cash EFT. Reconciliation of the Accounts Payable sub-module against the general ledger. Processing and payment of DEL claims.
