Plan and theme the content and align to consumer consumption patterns
Innovate ways of delivering content to consumers that tell an on-line story in a fresh new way, using all mediums available.
Formulate deliverables and then deliver them to the correct standard and within deadlines.
Monitoring of assigned digital platforms to assess requirements and respond to viewership patterns of assigned digital platform trends to formulate content exploitation strategies.
The job does not entail shift work, but long and irregular working hours may be necessary on occasion.
Effect digital marketing campaigns to promote content on digital platforms.
Work in conjunction with the linear programming teams to ensure consistency in material usage
Liaise with internal stakeholders and collating supporting metadata and images for the content
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for the promotion and marketing of the planned content
REQUIREMENTS:
National Diploma in Communications, Information Science, Media studies (NQF 6) or related qualifications
Understanding of digital systems and technologies such as Websphere, Joomla and/or WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, VOD, etc
Analytical understating in terms of digital platforms (click-throughs, page impressions, etc)
Simple video editing, conversion, and transcoding understanding
An understanding of the social media platforms and an ability to connect to the target market.
Create and maintaining compelling websites.
A desire to stay abreast of new media developments and trends.
