Investment Banking Associate at Flamingo Capital Partners

Key responsibilities:

• Support senior bankers in origination and execution efforts
• Create financial models and other financial analysis
• Assist in preparation of information memorandum, management presentations, board documents, memoranda, and other client deliverables
• Maintain data room on behalf of clients in coordination with analysts
• Participate in structuring discussion
• Research on industries with high ESG impact
• Coordinate project deliverables
• Interact with clients and other advisers
• Supporting senior management in the development of the organisation

Requirements:

• Passion to change the world and have a long-lasting positive impact on the African continent
• Three years of investment banking or corporate finance experience
• Very strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Strong understanding of investment banking products
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and other advisers
• Ability to work in hybrid model, both in office and work-from-home
• Strong academic background
• Ability to work in SA (SA national, permanent resident or valid work permit) and travel across Africa
