    ISOC: Engineer

    Job Purpose:
    As we continue to expand our network, services, and technology suite, we are looking for highly skilled and experienced ISOC (Intelligent Security and Operations Center) Engineers to join our team. As an ISOC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our network, systems, and overall safety and security of our organization. You will be responsible for managing the flow of information between our automated monitoring systems for Safety, Security and Network Health and the rest of the organization, providing oversight and decision-making expertise that cannot be automated.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the flow of information between automated monitoring systems and other engineers, management, and external stakeholders.
    • Troubleshoot complex network, safety and security issues and make informed decisions about how to respond to incidents and events.
    • Interpret and analyze data from multiple sources to identify network performance issues and develop solutions.
    • Oversee the performance of our automated monitoring systems, ensuring that they are functioning properly and making adjustments as needed.
    • Build and operate a set of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that will be used by the ISOC team with a view to automate in the short or medium term.
    • Collaborate with other members of the ISOC team to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

    Requirements:

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • A good understanding of automation
    • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
    • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
