Datacentrix is looking for an IT Asset Administrator with finance experience and knowledge. The IT Asset Administrator will be responsible for the control of internal IT assets, Biometric access system control. The applicant must show case the following qualities: consistency, trustworthy, dependable and must be deadline driven.
Qualification and Experience Required:
Matric Certificate
IT Diploma
1 - 3 years experience in asset management field
Must have good MS Excel skills – minimum intermediate level certification
Finance knowledge and background will be advantageous
Responsibilities:
Keeping track of including hardware and software licenses, and ensuring that they are used effectively
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies related to data privacy, security, and access
Managing relationships with IT vendors, including negotiating and renewing contracts, evaluating, and procuring new technologies, and resolving issues
Maintaining accurate documentation of IT systems and processes, including network diagrams, system configurations, and user guides
Collaborating with other IT staff and departments to ensure smooth functioning of IT services and projects
Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
Coordinate and manage monthly application back and restore testing
Assis in preparing and continuous verification of IT disaster recovery and continuity plan
Perform various monthly reconciliations on Active Directory users and endpoint control
Assisting Group IT manager with Audit evidence for all internal and external IT audits including ISO audits and POPIA compliancy.
