Our client in the mining sector is looking for a Junior IT Asset Administrator to be based in Carletonville on an initial 6 months' contract. This is an entry level role and we require candidates to have at least 6 months to 1 years' experience in dealing with IT assets in the wharehouse in a corporate environment.
Responsible for managing all of the IT hardware request calls as per the SLA
Ticket management using Manage Engine
Managing the administrative tasks includes ordering, receiving, storing of equipment, layout of storeroom etc.
Responsible for IT asset management within the specific IT storerooms
Responsible to compile and manage the IT storeroom processes in terms of receipt and dispatch of hardware
Responsible for the IT asset stock takes in different regions
Responsible the receipt and management of redundant equipment
Responsible for executing on the approved IT hardware standards
Responsible to coordinate the imaging of the new hardware
Responsible to execute on client policies, processes and procedures
In conjunction with client management implement systems to manage the receipt and updating of hardware as well as to digitize the waybills
Tracking of equipment of the Randfontein group technology storeroom to users across the operation
