Senior Server Engineer at Hire Resolve

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Server Engineer to manage and support enterprise server infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, virtualisation, storage and cloud services.
• The successful candidate will take ownership of complex technical issues, support critical production environments and ensure infrastructure stability, security and availability.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise server, systems or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy.
• Strong Microsoft Exchange administration experience, including Exchange Hybrid, Exchange Online and mailflow troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration.
• Knowledge of email security and authentication, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX records and certificates.
• Experience with MailMarshal or similar email security gateway platforms.
• Strong VMware vSphere experience and exposure to SAN-backed storage environments.
• Practical Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, applications, identity, messaging, storage and cloud services.
• Experience working in production environments with incident management, change control, documentation and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server and enterprise infrastructure.
• Administer Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity services.
• Investigate and resolve complex email delivery, authentication, DNS and certificate issues.
• Support VMware virtualisation, SAN storage, backups and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in collaboration with developers and technical teams.
• Monitor system performance, maintain security standards and support vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to infrastructure improvements and service availability.
