On the hunt for an IT Auditor to join one of SA's largest listed companies. Initially, the main focus of the role will be to perform ITGC and application control audits. As the general control environments mature, the nature of the IT audits may change to incorporate more data analytics, cyber security and other value adding reviews. The internal audit function is not merely a tick-box exercise. We are looking for a candidate that is inherently curious and able to delve into the root causes of issues. The function is not a “policeman” internal audit function, but more an extension of management to improve the overall control environment and IT maturity. The ideal candidate has the following characteristics: Confident personality, academically strong, potential to learn, able to think out the box, self-starter and takes initiative.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science
CISA Certified Information Systems Auditor or other equivalents
