IT Programme Manager at Paracon

They are serious about diversity and are looking for a passionate, results-driven IT Programme Manager to join their Supply Chain Transformation team in Cape Town on a contract basis. This particular team sits within the company’s fashion department.

To apply, you need to have a relevant IT or Business related qualification coupled with 10+ years’ overall experience of which at least 7 years’ experience need to be in Project/Programme Management.

You also need the following knowledge and/or experience:

• Experience with retail transformation programme planning and delivery;
• IT Programme level planning and design skills to drive the creation of the IT programme plan;
• Ability to ensure optimal resource forecasting and to structure the required project teams;
• Experience managing multiple intricately dependent projects;
• Experience managing and reporting on programme progress and delivery on time, in budget and at the appropriate level of quality in accordance with requirements;
• Experience managing programmes in complex matrix organisations; and,
• Experience in risk and issue management and the ability to proactively identify them to plan and manage interventions to resolve.

On the softer side, you need to have excellent communication skills to create a unified vision of the IT programme amongst all stakeholders (top-down, cross-functionally and within the programme team) and to effectively and clearly report on programme status and progress.
