IT Support Agent at Black Bean Solutions

Black Bean is a growing IT Managed Services Provider based in the Cape Town CBD. We are looking for a motivated, energetic IT Support Agent to join our team. You will be based onsite with one of our clients for half day every day, resolving any queries and managing their account. The rest of the time will be spent in our office, as part of our helpdesk.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must live in Cape Town / Cape Town surrounds
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT Technical Support in an IT company
• Must have excellent customer relations skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English)
• Well presented, professional and confident
• Must be a team player
• Eager to learn, be agile and grow within a new tech company
• Must be organised and diligent
• Must be able to work under pressure

TECH KNOWLEDGE MUST-HAVES

• Advanced network setup & diagnostics
• Good understanding and experience with DHCP, DNS, Subnets, NAT, VPN and Remote Connections
• Email setups and protocols
• Thorough understanding of Windows platform, especially diagnostics and fault-finding
• Wireless networking
• Hardware diagnostics
• Windows Server
• Microsoft Exchange
• Active Directory

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Experience working with Autotask & IT Glue
• MAC OS Experience
• VoIP Experience
