IT Technician at Intelligent Debt Management

• As a Junior IT Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting and maintaining IDM’s IT infrastructure. This entry-level role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to build hands-on experience in troubleshooting, user support, and IT operations. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals to ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor and maintain internal IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Work collaboratively with the IT team on improvements to internal processes and procedures.
• Manage and resolve support tickets within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Participate in IT-related projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
• Keep detailed records of IT assets, configurations, and support activities.
• Stay informed on the latest industry trends and technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in an IT support or technician role.
• Working knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and common operating systems.
• Familiarity with helpdesk systems and remote support tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Awareness of IT security best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
