Jnr Financial Accountant - Bloemfontein at Country Bird Holdings Ltd (CBH)

Job Advert Summary    

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the full financial function of key responsible areas.  He/she will support the business through the collection, processing, recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial data, verifying the validity, completeness, and accuracy of source documentation.

Minimum Requirements    

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile creditors' and debtors' accounts
• Assist with budgeting & forecasting activities
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Compile and monitor cash flow forecasts
• Prepare and submit tax documents in compliance with local regulations
• Assist with external and internal audits
• Generate financial analyses and reports as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information.
