    Admin Clerk (Fixed Term Contract) - Potchefstroom

    • An opportunity has become available within Supreme Poultry for a temporary administrative team member. We are looking for an individual with strong administrative and data capturing skills combined with practical knowledge and understanding of systems and microsoft computer programmes.

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    Data Entry:
    The primary responsibility is to accurately input data into computer systems or databases from various sources such as paper documents, electronic files, or verbal communication. This includes capturing of:

    • Daily Breeder Production information on Avihance
    • Daily Hatchery Production information on Avihance

    Communication:

     

    • Collaborating with team members and other stakeholders to clarify data requirements, resolve discrepancies, and provide updates on data entry progress.

    Data Verification:

     

    • Ensuring data is captured accurately and identifying and rectifying any errors, inconsistencies, or duplications in the data to maintain data integrity and reliability.

    Documenting & Reporting:

    • Compiling weekly reports for the manager of the division.
    • Maintaining detailed records of data entry activities, procedures, and any issues encountered to facilitate auditing, troubleshooting, and process improvement efforts.

    • The successful candidate must be a customer-oriented professional who will be responsible for using their knowledge of company products to connect with customers and generate sales.  The duties will include developing sales pitches to sell products, making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers, and maintaining documentation of sales, as well as regular customer visits in the designated geographical area.

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Building and maintaining customer relationships in area of responsibility
    • Product pricing using a company device and the Syspro program
    • Ensure contract prices are loaded by the Buyer for specific periods
    • Re-negotiate contract prices after existing prices expires
    • Ensure product knowledge training is completed and continually updated via the Sales Manager.
    • Customer visits and call targets
    • Set new customer targets with the Sales Manager
    • Attend sales meetings either in Bloemfontein or Klerksdorp
    • Set growth targets with customers
    • Arrange special events
    • Monitor all customer activity via the BIZ Track system
