Jnr Financial Manager at Smith Garb

Minimum Requirements:

• B.Com (Accounting) degree (completed)
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience as an Accountant within a Manufacturing company (essential)
• ERP experience essential – Sage 200
• Strong costing and internal controls experience

Key Focus Areas:

• Oversee financial controls and ensure effective internal control systems
• Full sales and income cycle management
• Strict cost control with focus on bottom-line improvement
• Management of debtors, creditors, banking and statutory returns
• Costing, overhead recovery calculations & cost of sales review
• Annual price increases, cost uploads & price list management
• Fixed assets, payroll (including statutory returns), BEE & Employment Equity
• Year-end processes and reporting
