Bilnor Staffing Solutions’ client is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their finance team in Boksburg, Gauteng.
The Junior Accountant will support core accounting functions including payroll, creditors, and debtors, while ensuring accurate financial record keeping in line with internal controls and reporting standards.
**South African Citizens and those living in the area will be preferred**
Responsibilities
Process and manage payroll accurately and timeously
Maintain creditor accounts and process supplier payments
Manage debtors, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding accounts
Capture and reconcile financial transactions and general ledger entries
Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
Prepare supporting documentation for audits and compliance
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
Requirements
Minimum: Relevant Accounting Qualification (e.g., Diploma or Degree in Accounting).
Must have completed articles.
At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role handling payroll, creditors, and debtors.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and basic financial controls.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
