Junior Accounting Clerk - Hilton at Accountancy Placements

• Our client, an accounting firm based in Hilton, seeks a driven and detail-oriented Junior Accounting Clerk to join their team.

Responsibilities

Annual Financial Statements

• Drafting of non-complex annual financial statements
• Data capturing
• Processing and reconciling debtors, creditors, bank, etc.
• Understanding of basic bookkeeping to trial balance
• Preparation of fixed asset registers
• Finalisation process

Management Accounts

• Drafting of management accounts
• Data capturing
• Processing and reconciling debtors, creditors, bank, etc
• Understanding of basic bookkeeping to trial balance

Statutory Returns

• VAT and PAYE return Preparation
• Capturing of data for IRP5 recons

Requirements

• 0 - 3 years’ relevant accounting experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Pastel/Sage, Xero, eFiling, and GreatSoft 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Teams
• CaseWare Working Papers experience (advantageous)
