Junior Bookkeeper at Unique Personnel

Job Description    

• Printing of bank statements and distribution
• Reconciliation and Allocation of Debit orders
• Once off payments and expense claims
• Monthly Payments of freight forwarding companies
• Management of Head office petty cash
• Processing and reconciliation of petty cash from branches
• Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
• Year end schedule preparation
• Filing of stock journals
• General ledger recons
• Processing of Journals
• Input on cashflow forecast
• Assist on other functions requested by Financial Manager

Inherent Requirements    

• Matric
• Good command of English language (Verbal and written)
• Computer Literate – Excel minimum requirement is intermediate.
• Rudimentary understanding of accounting principles
• Accounting qualification would be advantageous.
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Timeous and ability to work within deadline driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills
• Innovative, motivated, self-starter
