Junior Buyer - Durban at Stratogo

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• B-Com – Supply Chain Management
• 0-2 years of related experience as buyer

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Experience on SAGE
• Time Management and the ability to multitask.
• MS office
• Understanding product costing

Responsibilities:

• Researching, and selecting quality products and raw materials
• Sourcing of current products & raw materials
• Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales
• Coordinating with sales team, inventory team, management, and stores
• Ability to turn around a request for quote from supplier within 48 hours
• Provide reports on current stock holding, Current open purchase order values, Current demand to buy
• Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders
