• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Dispatch Clerk to join our dispatch team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of daily dispatch operations, ensuring all deliveries are made on time and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination of daily dispatch operations
• Communicate with drivers and customers to ensure timely deliveries
• Monitor driver schedules and update dispatch system as needed
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to prioritize shipments
• Track and report on delivery status and any delays or issues
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities
• Assist in resolving any customer service issues related to deliveries
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to dispatch operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed
• Salary: R6 500 (basic) p.m.
