Junior Employee Benefits Department Accountant at Truworths

Key Responsibilities    

• Costing of the RSA and Africa payroll for both monthly and flexi staff
• Capturing of bank and posting bank transactions for RSA and Africa
• Prepare Africa and RSA monthly journals
• Prepare balance sheet recons both RSA and Africa
• Preparation of PAYE Tax reports
• 3rd party and Adhoc reports

Qualifications and Experience    

• Relevant qualification essential – we are looking for a Finance Degree e.g. Com
• 5 years + work experience
• Analytical ability
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to deliver a high standard of work under pressure
• Highly self-motivated and driven
• Strong systems knowledge essential
• Strong financial accounting skills
• Computer literate (MS Office Suite), excellent Excel skills and preferably have knowledge of the Oracle EBS
• Must have a flair for figures
