Junior Entry Clerk - Logistics - Durban

Vacancy Details
Employer: Rhenus Logistics
- Ensure all import documents received for preparing customs clearance are correct and sufficient
- Provide advice on tariff headings and duty rates
- Assist with applications for import permits
- Follow up on shipments on a daily basis, monitor customs stops and detains till finalization
- Conduct quality control when requested
- Frame (Air & Sea) entries, ex bond entries, VOC’s and provisional payments
- Provide advice on tariff headings and duty rates
- Assist with applications for customs code
- Provide advice on permit requirements
- Assist with applications for import permits
Candidate Requirements
- Matric or senior certification equivalent
- High level of computer literacy
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customs
- Knowledge of CargoWise
- Knowledge of the Customs Act and Legislation
