Are you a resilient individual who thrives on the intricacies of financial reporting and analysis? We are seeking a detail orientated Junior Financial Analyst with a knack for problem solving to handle the financial reporting for our group companies.
Your responsibilities will encompass compiling financial statements, accurately reconciling balance sheets, preparing tax and VAT returns, financial analysis, and project-based work. You will also engage with auditors and facilitate smooth audits.
We require:
Matric and relevant accounting diploma/degree
1 to 2 years’ experience in financial reporting and analysis
Solid understanding of audit techniques, banking platforms, and leading accounting software, ideally CaseWare
Expertise in Excel, Income Tax, VAT Act, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Effective communication skills with a collaborative mindset
