Job Description

We are seeking a young, enthusiastic Junior Multimedia Assistant to show off their marketing and content creation abilities on all our Social Media platforms. The position is based at our Head Office in Brackenfell.

Responsibilities:

•         Managing all social media platforms
•         Social Media Content creation
•         Assist with product shoots & image editing
•         Adhere to briefs given & meet deadlines
•         Evaluate and adapt designs based on feedback provided
•         Motivated to go out and do in-depth research and out-of-the-box brainstorming
•         Ready to cope with tight deadlines and unexpected creative challenges 
•         General assistance to Marketing Department

Requirements and Competencies:

•         Social Media Savvy: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, MailChimp
•         Highly interested in social and cultural trends
•         Detail-oriented and highly organised
•         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•         Creative Personality
•         Self-motivated, hardworking and reliable

        Preferred Technical skills: Adobe CC; HTML/CSS; Shopify; MS Office Suite

•         You will need to know the fundamentals behind web layout and development to assist with website maintenance
•         Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential: Matric
• Desirable: Degree /Diploma/Certificate in copywriting, Marketing, Social Media, Graphic Design or related fields
• Recently qualified graduates are welcome to apply
• Fully Bilingual

The successful candidate should reside in the Northern Suburbs Area (Cape Town).
