Junior Operator - Quality at Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate with Mathematics and Science.

EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):

• 6 Months Exposure to relevant production process in a plant / operations environment.

DUTIES (including but not limited to):

• Ensuring that the final product meets established standards required by conducting a detailed inspection, recognizing any non-conformities and deviations, and utilizing sampling methods that comply with international standards to represent the stockpiles or outgoing product.
• Complete a pre-use inspection for all the tools to be use and ensure that they are according to the required standard and safe to be use. Record and deviation and ensure that it has been corrected or reported before conducting work.
• Check all available orders in the system. Conduct stockpile inspection for the commodities that are open on the system. Check the condition of the stockpile and record in the loading sheet. Avoid any contamination by randomly inspecting the bin before the trucks load. Record any deviation observed in the stockpile.
• Sample the stockpile where the FEL loaded. Seal the samples to avoid moisture escape. Collect the samples and delivered them into the Laboratory. Registered the sample on the MES for the required tests.
• Perform housekeeping duties whenever required.
