We currently have an opportunity for a Data Analytics specialist with at least 2 years’ experience to join our client on a 6-month contract working within a hybrid model in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Power BI, SQL or PostgreSQL where you will work with relevant stakeholders to design, develop and implement data solutions that drive business insights and decision making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
ETL – Data from various sources into Power BI for analysis.
Write and optimize SQL Queries
Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Maintain and optimize existing Power BI Reports
Ensure Data quality and identify opportunities for process improvement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, BA or related field)
Must have experience with DAX in Power BI
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Power BI Development and reporting.
Proficient in SQL / PostgreSQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Excellent communication skills to effectively present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders in both English and Afrikaans. (verbal and written)
