Junior Production Manager at Farm Managers SA

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary qualification in Agriculture (advantageous)
• Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and digital monitoring systems.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Adaptable, organized and passionate about sustainable production

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Plan and monitor pest control, fertilization and planting programs.
• Monitor cultivar trials and planting.
• Manage technical staff and production activities.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as Global GAP, Farming for the Future, DAFF and Siza
• Develop and implement standard procedures and training for production practices.
• Purchase and manage pest control and fertilization expertise
