Conduct quality sampling, analysis & reporting for raw materials and finished products which includes environmental samples.
Timely and accurate maintenance of data systems to ensure compliance to traceability standards and key performance indicators
Adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP), good laboratory practices (GLP) and master cleaning schedules (MCS).
Compliance with company, Third Party and customer standards demonstrated by successful completion of Inter-lab proficiency schemes, routine refresher training and competency assessments.
Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
Participate with RCA and CAPA implementation.
Conducting internal audits.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Further educated to HNC or equivalent in a science subject - preferably chemistry or biochemistry.
Similar experience in a manufacturing environment working within Quality Management Systems.
Practical experience of Good Laboratory Practices.
Fluency in English.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact with multiple levels within the business as well as with external contactors.
Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
PC literate as a minimum.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to interpret analytical and microbiological data.
