Junior Videographer - Cape Town at Dentsu Creative

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Videography capabilities
• Booking client appointments and setting up meet-and-greets.
• Scouting potential photoshoot locations and venues.
• Setting up the studio for each shoot and work with stylists.
• Organizing, unpacking, and setting up camera and lighting equipment at external locations.
• Interacting with models and assisting with positioning during the shoot.
• Taking instructions from the Senior Photographer on stills shoots.
• Assisting with lighting and camera work.
• Editing and distributing photos via online distribution portals for approval.

Minimum requirements:

• Diploma in photography or similar qualification.
• 1-2 years videography experience
• Video and basic editing capabilities
• Previous experience working as a photographic assistant.
• Naturally creative with a good eye for colour and style.
• Experience with professional cameras and lighting equipment.
• Detailed knowledge of modern photography techniques.
• Ability to work after hours when needed.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Proficient with photo editing software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Light room Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Team player
• Have a valid Driver's License
