KPH-Care worker

Main Focus Areas
- The Care giver will be tasked to assist in attending to and maintaining the basic needs of the patient.
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)
- Maintain a therapeutic, clean and safe environment that is free from medico-legal hazards Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act) Ensure all stock is controlled Carry out all unit related duties and tasks as assigned by your supervisors Responsible for ensuring correct use, cleaning and storage of equipment specific to your line of work Practice and adhere to the principles of infection prevention and all standard precautions
Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
- Certificate of successful completion of the Care Giver’s and CPR course by an accredited service provider
- Previous Nursing experience
