The University of Venda is a South African comprehensive rural-based institution, located in Thohoyandou in Limpopo province. It was established in 1982 under the then Republic of Venda government.
Candidate must be in possession of Degree in Biokinetics with 2 years experience in Laboratory environment, and private practice would be an added advantage.
Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent Biokinetics practitioner is compulsory. A practice number will be an added advantage.
JOB DUTIES
The successful candidate will accept responsibility for teaching undergraduate students in Biokinetics and will be expected to actively participate in research projects and the accompaniment of students in clinical practice. If appointed to this position, as a lab technician, the incumbent will participate in curriculum development, and management of students’ records and will provide academic guidance to the students. Setting up student rotation schedules for WIL and clinical training. Teaching students the practical aspects of the scope of Biokinetics.
