Lab Technologist - (1096) at University of Venda

Job Requirements:

• BSc. Degree in Microbiology, Virology, Biotechnology with two (2) working experience or National Diploma in the above fields coupled with five (5) years' relevant working experience will also be considered.
•  Driver’s license.
• Registration with the South African Health Professions Council as Virologist or Medical Scientist.

Duties:

• Performs laboratory tests according to approved protocols.
• Ensures maintenance of equipment and instruments for quality assurance purposes.
• Oversee the maintenance of good laboratory practice.
• Ensures compliance with laboratory biosafety protocols.
• Prepares laboratory technical reports.
• Procure laboratory reagents and supplies.
